The Discrete Notoriety saxophone quartet (DNSQ) was formed in January of 2000 when four guys started talking about doing a little extracurricular ensemble activity. We grabbed the appropriate instruments and after many practices started finishing each others musical phrases. We played many school and charity function over the next 3 years before we started going to graduate school and actually getting jobs. Roughly once a year, our bari sax player journeys down from Delaware and we put on a show in Piedmont park. So, if you hear an interesting saxophone group with a smooth melodic line or a solid groove going, look for us in the park in downtown Atlanta.
